Overview

ADPE is looking for someone to join our sales team in Naperville, IL

Responsibilities

AD Process Equipment is an industry leader in custom process solutions, with a history dating back to 1979. In 2019, our team became part of the Gray family of brands, and together the companies deliver highly customized turnkey solutions. AD Process Equipment in closely aligned with Anderson Dahlen Inc., a Gray company, that has been providing world-class specialty alloy fabrication and equipment integration services for more than 75 years.


 


To provide a wide variety of functions related to support for customers, outside sales, estimating, project management and operations teams in a manner which allows effective execution of our sales process. 


 


MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTAIBLITY:



  • Review all customer requests, route for appropriate response. Assure these receive timely response and are tracked to completion.  Update and maintain CRM accordingly.

  • Support outside sales efforts, directly and indirectly, through processing of customer inquiries & requests, quotes, orders, expedites, etc.

  • Assist in the management of existing accounts (as assigned).

  • Assist marketing efforts (technical input, project examples, events).

  • Attend various sales/product training to better support customers & outside sales efforts.

  • Other tasks relating to distributed products and Inside Sales will be assigned as needed.

Qualifications

QUALITIFCATIONS FOR ENTRY:



  • High school education or equivalent, plus 2 years of college business school, or technical training.

  • Clerical and administrative skills to be effective with Microsoft, ERP, CRM and other tools required for business communications.

  • Detail oriented, strong planning/organizational skills and be able to track progress of customer requests, opportunities, and projects.

  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple and varied projects.

  • Ability to relate well to others and gain the respect of co-workers.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Displays a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.

  • Ability to work independently.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:


Anderson Dahlen fosters a manufacturing type environment. This position will primarily involve operating a computer at a desk in an office environment. AD Process Equipment (Spec) fosters a manufacturing type environment.

    • 26-75 lbs.- Never

    • 76-100 lbs.- Never



  • Bend- 0-33% during an 8-hour shift

  • Twist/Turn- 0-33% during an 8-hour shift

  • Kneel/Squat- Not at all

  • Sit- 67-100% during an 8-hour shift.

  • Stand/Walk- 0-33% during an 8-hour shift

  • Overhead Reaching- 0-33% during an 8-hour shift

  • Ladder/Stair- 0-33% during an 8-hour shift
